Carlos Pelegrín is one of Spain's leading figures in human resources and talent management, areas in which he has more than 27 years of experience. Due to his extensive experience at the highest level, in his conferences he offers practical reflections on change management in organizations, digital transformation and other cultural challenges in business integrations.
He was Chief People Officer in Iberia (IAG Group) until 2017, managing the initiatives related to the organization and human resources of the company's Future Plan, and making a fundamental contribution to the company's return to profitability. He is currently Senior Advisor and Coach for different companies such as MASMOVIL, MBIT School, Gamma Solutions, Thinking Heads, Komvida or BALEÀRIA. In 2018 he created the company specialized in transformation processes MACAPAB CONSULTING, S.L., which covers the organizational, process and talent management points of view. He is a Director of MIDAS and Norauto.
Previously, Carlos Pelegrín was Talent Management Manager at Orange and Director of Development, Training and Change Management at Telefónica, heading the cultural transformation program mi.telefonica.es, also leading the company's innovation initiatives. On the other hand, he has been Advisory Director of the consulting firm specialized in business solutions, strategy and development, maintenance of technological applications and outsourcing Everis, and Director of Training, Selection and Development at Caja Madrid.
He has also served as Vice President of the Excellence in Management Club and as Vice President of AECOP (Spanish Association of Coaching and Process Consulting), as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Fraternidad-Muprespa. He currently collaborates with Transforma Talento.
In the field of communication, he is currently a regular contributor to El Economista, has coordinated two books for AEDIPE and is co-author of a third one, as well as participating in the editing and coordination of the contents of the book Experiences in Human Resources Management, edited by Wolters Kluwer.
In the academic and teaching aspect, he is a visiting professor at ESADE and Deusto. Until 2007, he was an honorary professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and until 2017 at ESIC. He has been General Director of MBIT School.
Carlos Pelegrín has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a General and International MBA from IADE and Brighton Polytechnic, a Master's degree in Banking and Stock Exchange from IADE-UAM, a Master's degree in Human Resources from INSEAD-UC-EUROFORUM, a PDG from IESE and a PAD Digital Business+ from The Valley.
