David Albritton is a renowned business leader, speaker, and award-winning communications expert. Before his corporate career, Albritton served for 10 years as an officer in the United States Navy, providing him with a strong foundation in leadership and management. His career has included leadership roles across diverse industries, including technology, automotive, defense, aerospace, and retail. He is the founder and CEO of Nineteen88 Strategies, LLC, a firm specializing in executive coaching, leadership development, and organizational management.
David Albritton began his career as a public relations specialist at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in 1998, quickly advancing to become Director of Communications at Exelis, Inc. In 2018, he reached a new career milestone as President of General Motors Defense, one of the few corporate communications executives to transition into a Chief Executive role in a Fortune 25 business division. Albritton has established himself as a mentor and leadership coach, helping professionals across sectors achieve their full potential. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy, holds a master’s degree in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, and has completed executive education at Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton.
