Who Is Alfonso Luna?

Alfonso Luna is the co-founder and director of Kentriki, the first social network for e-commerce in Latin America. With extensive experience in the tech industry, Luna has played a key role in developing major marketing and digital commerce initiatives in the region. He served as the Marketing Director for Google in Latin America from 2006 to 2010, launching platforms such as YouTube in Mexico and Brazil, and Google Maps in several countries. He also founded E-den Entertainment in 2005, a company focused on the distribution of tech products.

Alfonso Luna has held key roles in leading global tech companies. At Google, he was responsible for building the marketing strategy from the ground up, leading a team that brought in more than half of Google’s new advertisers in Latin America. He also developed and launched projects such as Google Doodle and an advertiser training program used in seven countries across the region. Previously, he served as General Director for Microsoft’s Andean Region, overseeing sales, marketing, finance, and other key operations in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador.

In addition to his work at Google and Microsoft, Luna founded Kentriki, integrating the e-commerce experience with a social network profile, creating a platform where buying and selling become a social and interactive experience.
