Peter Terium is the Head of Energy Sector for NEOM, one of Saudi Arabia's giga projects to realize Vision 2030. From 2009 to 2011, he served as CEO of Essent, the leading Dutch energy company before assuming command of its parent company, RWEAG, from 2012 to 2016. As CEO of RWE, he moved away from its energy-intensive business model in capital. he generation by creating a new company, innogy SE, which operates in the unexplored world of energy management. He then served as CEO of innogy SE until 2017. Peter lives and works in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but plans to move to NEOM once he is ready to move.
NEOM is being built in the Red Sea in northwestern Saudi Arabia as a living laboratory, a place where entrepreneurship and innovation will set the course for this New Future.
