Celebrating the 100th edition of #Top100Live on LinkedIn Spain

To mark the 100th edition of our #Top100Live series, we hosted a special session at LinkedIn Spain’s headquarters, bringing together some of the most prominent figures from our Top 100 Speakers Spain.

Since 2020, our #Top100Live sessions on LinkedIn have evolved into a global forum for reflection, enabling us to share high-level insights and expertise with audiences across different regions. In this context, Thinking Heads commemorated the 100th #Top100Live with a special edition held at LinkedIn España, convening a selection of our leading Top 100 Speakers Spain to offer perspectives on current realities and engage in forward-looking dialogue.

This 100th edition was not conceived as a standalone event, but rather as a milestone that reflects a consistent trajectory and a distinctive approach to leadership: one grounded in social responsibility, sound judgment, and the pursuit of tangible, positive impact. Alongside our speakers, representatives from both organizations also took part in the event, including Daniel Romero-Abreu, President and Founder of Thinking Heads; Ángel Sáenz de Cenzano, Managing Director of LinkedIn Spain; Iván Abanades, Partner at Thinking Heads; and Virginia Collera, Head of Editorial for Spain and Latin America at LinkedIn.

A shared milestone: the 100th #Top100Live

The 100th #Top100Live is the result of a long-standing collaboration between Thinking Heads and LinkedIn Spain, built on shared values such as leadership, authenticity, and meaningful dialogue. From the outset, #Top100Live was conceived as a response to the uncertainty triggered by the pandemic, to broaden access to knowledge and connect organizations with trusted voices capable of providing clarity and perspective during periods of heightened complexity. Six years on, the conversation has shifted toward the growing responsibility of leaders in addressing global, technological, social, and human challenges that are increasingly interconnected.

Top 100 Speakers Spain: a unique platform for ideas and influence

As part of the Top 100 Speakers Spain initiative, which brings together some of the most influential academics, executives, scientists, entrepreneurs, and communicators across the Spanish-speaking world, the 100th #Top100Live stands as a concrete expression of its mission to promote and amplify talent and ideas.

In a context defined by information overload and increasingly reactive discourse, creating spaces for thoughtful, well-structured, and substantive conversations has become a strategic imperative for organizations. With this perspective, the 100th edition of #Top100Live was organized around three core thematic areas that reflect some of the most pressing global challenges addressed by the initiative: leadership and influence, AI, and well-being and mental health.

Leadership and Influence in times of complexity: from individual leadership to collective responsibility

The first theme block explored leadership from a broad and integrative perspective, recognizing that leadership today entails responsibilities that extend beyond individual roles or purely professional boundaries. In a landscape marked by geopolitical, technological, and social fragmentation, responsible leadership has become an essential source of legitimacy, coherence, and informed decision-making.

Expert perspectives on responsible leadership

Offering complementary viewpoints from academia, business, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, this session featured Manuel Muñiz, Provost of IE University and former Secretary of State at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Sergi Corbeto, founding partner of Mind the Gap and director of the Disruptive Management program at ESADE; Leandro Fernández Macho, expert in change management, leadership, and positive stress management; Isabel Garro, expert in sustainable development and founder of Lyminar (3A4B); and Beatriz Magro, co-founder of Komvida Organic Kombucha.

Manuel Muñiz emphasized the need for leadership that is capable of interpreting the evolving international environment and acknowledging geopolitical and regulatory risk as an integral part of today’s organizational context.

Sergi Corbeto highlighted the importance of leaders adapting more effectively to fluid environments, responding to change with greater agility through multidimensional leadership models that operate across teams, organizations, and personal spheres.

Leandro Fernández Macho stressed the role of self-leadership as the foundation of any organizational transformation, as well as the importance of psychological safety as a prerequisite for sustainable change.

Isabel Garro underscored sound judgment and coherence as critical attributes for leaders seeking to build long-term credibility and influence.

Beatriz Magro positioned well-being as a direct driver of organizational performance, noting that personal and team care has become a strategic lever for sustainable growth.

The second block approached artificial intelligence from a strategic and organizational standpoint, deliberately moving away from purely technical perspectives or tool-centric discussions. AI was framed as a structural force with far-reaching implications for culture, decision-making processes, and business models.

Expert insights on AI-driven transformation and governance

This session brought together two key figures in business transformation and AI policy: Adolfo Ramírez, former deputy CEO of Banco Santander and expert in business and digital transformation; and Carme Artigas, expert in artificial intelligence and technological innovation, and former Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

Adolfo Ramírez observed that many organizations remain stuck in low-impact experimentation, when genuine transformation requires embedding AI into corporate strategy and fundamentally rethinking the business model.

Carme Artigas highlighted the importance of establishing robust governance, ethical frameworks, and trust-based systems to enable the responsible and sustainable adoption of artificial intelligence.

Well-being and mental health: a structural pillar of leadership

The third theme block addressed well-being and mental health as foundational elements of leadership, both at the individual level and within organizations. Rather than a passing trend, these factors were positioned as essential conditions for sound decision-making and long-term organizational sustainability.

Expert perspectives on well-being from neuroscience and psychology

Jonathan Benito explained how chronic stress negatively impacts decision-making quality and inhibits innovation capacity.

Jesús Matos cautioned against addressing well-being purely at a rhetorical level, without implementing tangible changes to organizational structures, work dynamics, or cultural alignment around mental health.

Mariano Sigman emphasized the value of high-quality conversation as a critical tool for clearer thinking and for building healthier, more effective professional environments.
