Matteo Rizzi is a distinguished entrepreneur, investor, and innovator with over two decades of experience in Financial Services. Globally recognized as one of the top executives in the industry, Matteo has spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives in FinTech, driving innovation, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship worldwide.
During 13 transformative years at SWIFT, Matteo co-founded Innotribe, the cooperative’s innovation arm, launching the first global startup challenge in the financial sector. Since 2013, he has held pivotal roles as a FinTech investor and Venture Capital partner, collaborating with global VCs and CVCs on over 20 deals, including five successful exits. In 2015, Matteo co-founded FinTechStage (now FTSGroup.eu), a platform connecting investors and innovators to accelerate global financial technology innovation. In 2019, he launched Timepledge.org, a global initiative fostering financial inclusion and entrepreneurship, and became the executive producer of Breaking Banks Europe. Matteo is the author of “The FinTech Revolution” and “Talents & Rebels,” and is fluent in five languages.
