Héctor is a design engineer and has been trained (and continues to do so) in subjects such as psychology, strategy, business models, innovation and organizational transformation. After passing through different companies, he founded DOMO in 2001, a consultancy from which they innovate in products-services and business models, and build innovation cultures for their clients (renowned companies, startups and large corporations). Thanks to his own innovation methodology (100% Design Thinking) he has designed and launched, together with his team, innovations in more than 30 sectors, which can be seen on 5 continents, many of them patents. He is also a pioneer in the use (since 1993) of the technologies we see today (IoT, virtual reality, 3D printing, ...).
In 2008, after a process of personal / professional reinvention, he discovers that the biggest brake on the growth of companies is their culture, specifically the lack of a culture of innovation, and that innovation is in people's minds. He then decides that his mission will be to help companies acquire that authentic culture of innovation that allows them to obtain their results, and to become aware that this culture is the main asset of his company.
Héctor firmly believes in companies as the engine of change in society. Around 2010 he created the Honest Strategy movement, which promulgates 3 keys to being a company in the digital age: the purpose of service, authenticity and the culture of innovation. And he develops a methodology for companies to achieve success, happiness and sustainability over time by applying these 3 keys.
He has been recognized with prestigious international innovation awards, such as the "CEVISAMA" (2004), "Design for All Foundation Award" (2012) or the "BID14" (2014) among others.
The results obtained in his extensive experience in real innovation are disseminated, with a style that is close to the time provocative, through his different roles: mentor (Spanish Mentoring Association), manager trainer, writer in different blogs, lecturer and TEDx speaker.
