“Everybody can be creative” says Masaaki Hasegawa. Nowadays, creativity is considered one of the most important elements in business and Masaaki advocates a new paradigm of creativity that is based on a quantum mechanic approach rather than a Newtonian mechanic approach. Masaaki has helped thousands of people in over 100 countries including award-winning actors, professional athletes, and business executives, to flourish their creativity and potential. Through this journey, he has developed his unique approach “The Art of Making Your Ideas Happen.”
Masaaki Hasegawa is the creator of Creativida, an advisor to the Erretres Strategic Design Company. He is also an international artist supported by Molotow, and an ambassador and permanent exhibitor of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. Masaaki is devoted to creativity education and has authored 3 books on creativity in 3 languages, with 4000 students from 120 countries enrolled in his online course. He is a certificated Buddhism priest as well.
After winning the All-Japan Inter High School Taekwondo Championship, Masaaki started his career as a professional MMA fighter in Japan when he was an undergrad student. After studying Finance with Teizo Taya, former committee member of Bank of Japan and receiving a B.A in International Business, he started working as an investment strategist in Daiwa Capital Markets, one of the biggest financial institutions in Japan. Later on, he left the company to take a master degree in Visual Media Communication in Instituto de Empresa in Spain. After graduation, he worked for Guester Technologies in Tel-Aviv, Israel, as the chief technology evangelist. He led the company to win the “Entrepreneurs of the Year Awards” and presented the company to the former president of Estonia.
In 2014, he came back to Madrid and developed Creativida, a wisdom platform of great minds. He has interviewed over 60 great minds around the world, including Jim Rogers, Dan Ariely, Daniel Pink, and Chris Hadfield. In 2015, Masaaki became an advisor of Erretres, which has been selected as the best branding agency by Brandemia. As the advisor of Erretres, Masaaki has developed the project “Japanese Technology Meets Spanish Design” collaborating with Circulo Empresarial Japón España.
In 2015 he also published his first book “Si, Eres Creativo” of which the first edition sold out within a year without distributing through Amazon and Casa de Libro. In 2016, Masaaki published his second book “New Paradigm of Creativity” which is part of “Handbook of Research on Creative Problem-Solving Skill Development in Higher Education” published by IGI-Global, the leading academic publisher in the US. In 2017, he published his first Japanese book “Have Courage to Doubt What You Believe” which has been featured by major business media in Japan such as Toyo-Keizai and Sankei.
Thanks to these unique achievements, he was assigned as the ambassador of Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Russia without having any prior experience in art. In 2017, Masaaki officially started his career as a calligraphy artist and he has been invited to exhibit in multiple countries such as France, Russia, Japan, and Spain. In the same year, Molotow, one of the major global markers brands based in Germany, has officially started supporting his art creation.
Masaaki Hasegawa is also an expert in imagineering, a method based on quantum mechanics that seeks to combine mind, strategy and action. In his talks, the audience learns how the mind works through exercises.
His work has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions (Caotics, LettockaboutArt, Google Campus Madrid, Galerie Perahia, ETC) around the world.
He has won the winner of the ADCC Spain National Champion, the most important championship of grappling, a type of martial arts.
