Motivation
Masaaki Hasegawa is an artist, author, and international consultant based in Madrid, Spain. He is the creator of Creativida, a business advisor at Erretres Strategic Design Company —one of the world’s top branding agencies— and a permanent ambassador for the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. As an artist, Masaaki has created one of the largest artworks in the world, spanning 1926 square meters, and developed the first AI art project where the artwork evolves alongside the artist. In 2021, he participated in Madrid Fashion Week in collaboration with designer María Lafuente, only four years after starting his artistic career.
Masaaki Hasegawa has built a multifaceted career that bridges art, creativity, and business. He is the author of four books on creativity, some of which have gained international recognition and are featured in institutions like IE Business School, where he is an official author for IE Knowledge. He has also interviewed over 60 global thought leaders, including Jim Rogers, Dan Ariely, and Daniel Pink, for his Creativida platform.
As a consultant, Masaaki has helped numerous companies develop their businesses in Japan, most notably through his project “Japanese Technology Meets Spanish Design.” His diverse experience includes competing as a professional MMA fighter and working as an investment strategist at Daiwa Capital Markets, one of Japan’s largest financial institutions. In 2021, he won the ADCC Spain National Championship in grappling.
