Debbie Wosskow OBE is recognized as one of the most prominent serial entrepreneurs in the UK. She is the current London Evening Standard ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ - awarded to her for her work in scaling businesses, and her successful exit from Love Home Swap, the business she founded and sold to Wyndham Destination Networks for $53m in July 2017.
Debbie is known as a confident and inspiring speaker, in particular on the topics of entrepreneurship, resilience and female empowerment. She is the author of a book to be released in 2019, and published by Penguin - ‘Believe, Build, Become. Supercharge your career’. As co-founder of AllBright, Debbie, along with her co-founder Anna Jones (former CEO of Hearst), aims to close the gender-based funding gap that currently prevents many women from launching and succeeding with their business ideas. AllBright combines Members’ clubs and an Academy to help women build their skills, confidence and network.
Debbie is opening AllBright Clubs in Mayfair and Los Angeles in 2019, following the successful opening of The AllBright Rathbone on International Women’s Day in 2018.
Debbie led the independent UK government review of the Sharing Economy and was the Founding Chair of Sharing Economy UK. She sits on the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board and is a Board member of the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
Hailing from a family of female entrepreneurs, her entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 25 when Debbie launched her first company Mantra, a marketing consultancy, later sold to Loewy Group in 2009. Debbie was awarded an OBE for services to business in 2017. She graduated with an MA in Philosophy and Theology from New College, Oxford.
