Wolfram is Business Development Executive for Big Data at IBM. His current mission is selling complex Big Data solutions based on the IBM platform. He is responsible for market understanding of IBM's solutions and value proposition.
He has led the Business Intelligence Executive Program at Escuela de Organización Industrial for the last 10 years. Additionally he started leading the first two Big Data and Analytics programs (Executive and Senior). He is a regular speaker at Business Schools and Universities in seminars on Big Data and Analytics in general. He is considered an international expert in the discipline of Business Intelligence and Optimization and has published several articles on the subject. He has more than 20 years of experience in leading Analytics projects in the financial, telecommunications, airlines, retail, tourism and consumer sectors.
He is currently developing Big Data use cases in the Banking, Telecom, Utilities, Media and Oil industries. The use cases address issues of customer management, risk, fraud, operational efficiency, and employ complex Big Data architectures with deployment of appliances, and Hadoop, Text Mining, and real-time processing components
