Mathieu Carenzo’s career and contribution to society:
Mathieu has made investments in scale-ups such as Glovo or Bizaway and promising start-ups such as Trioteca, Daysk, Vasquiat and many others. He keeps a portfolio of 10/12 start-up investments at any given moment.
From 2006 to 2011, he led the growth of the Entrepreneurship Center at IESE Business School, and in 2014 he co-founded Venture Hub, a consulting firm supporting the scale of high-growth start-ups and the development of entrepreneurial skills in society at large. He has also managing partner in Nero Ventures; a boutique VC Fund based in Spain focusing on technology services companies operating in the B2B and B2B2C markets where we invested in companies such as Exoticca or Signaturit.
Ever since 2004 he has been involved in both sides of the table during funding rounds, being exposed to more than 200 deals.
He currently teaches in the MBA and the GEMBA of IESE Business School and has extensive experience teaching programs in 3 different languages (English, Spanish and French) on over 4 continents.
