Lucy Bloom is an award-winning Australian speaker, leader and author. With over 27 years' experience under her belt Bloom is an expert in the advertising business. She started her advertising activity in Australian advertising company Pilgrim International, with a focus on humanitarian aid. Bloom later went on to create her own advertising agency, “Pure Graphics”, which she lead successfully for 20 years. In 2004, after receiving training as doula she created “Beers+Bubs”, the world’s first childbirth education program for men, which she run in local pubs all across Australia.

In 2012, Lucy Bloom became the CEO of the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation, an independent charity with the mission of eradicating obstetric fistula. In her three years at the forefront of the company, she managed to raise over $7M for the African network of hospitals. In addition, in 2015, her tireless commitment with humanitarian aid lead Bloom to transform “Sunrise Cambodia”, a Cambodian children’s charity, as its first CEO. Her commendable work yielded her being the only Australian to be listed in the Top 30 World’s Social CEOs. In 2016, she founded “The Lucy Bloom”, devoted to providing keynote speeches as well as management consulting for CEOs and business leaders.

As an author, her top-selling memoir, “Get the Girls Out”, was published by Harper Collins in 2019. Praised by readers and lauded by critics, the book was described as heartfelt, inspirational and raw, while still giving an insight into the turbulent business world.

As an international speaker, Lucy Bloom shares her inspiring entrepreneurial experiences both in humanitarian aid and in the corporate world while showing the public how to do business differently. Her unique presentations have been commended by audiences for being motivational, memorable and hysterically funny. Thus, her pairing humor and a powerful business message have been praised in several occasions. In 2019, she won the Weekly Award for Best Talk at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
