Guillermo Mrt Gauna-Vivas, Industrial Engineer, has worked as R&D Director and Product Development at many companies and he is the Founder of Ayudame3D.org, social project which he recently left his job to focus on fulltime.
The Ayudame3D.org project was hatched in 2017 and delivers 3D printed prosthetic arms to people around the world with no lucre.
Guillermo Mrt Gauna-Vivas received the award for Social Innovation at the World Youth Forum in Egypt, the award for Sustainable Thinking of Committed Optimists, the award Voluntario Inspirador from Fundación Telefónica, and he is one of 23 “Under 35” youth called to lead the technological revolution according to Business Insider.
In his keynote Guillermo Mrt Gauna-Vivas talks about the social values of new technologies and how to apply them, and he has been named as one of the 10 representatives of Spanish civil society at the Dos Orillas Summit by the Government of Spain.
He is currently CEO of his Ayudame3D.org project where he mixes technological development with social responsibility. He has years of experience as a Product Development Engineer in the toy industry and has worked as a professor at the Pontifical University of COMILLAS ICADE-ICAI, training industrial engineering and telecommunications students.
He has lectured in China, Egypt, Italy, Ireland and at numerous events in Spain with a specific theme: technological development as a social purpose, how to motivate companies to use creative thinking to solve problems in both the local environment or on the other side of the world.
In the academic field, Guillermo has a degree in Industrial Engineering. He specialized in Additive Manufacturing and Product Development and has extensive experience in international relations and international mobility (Ex-President Erasmus Student Network URJC Association).
