Who is Felipe Morandé?

Felipe Morandé is a Chilean economist with a distinguished career as a professor, international consultant, and public sector leader. His work bridges academia, policy-making, and financial analysis. He served as Ambassador of Chile to the OECD, Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, and Dean of the School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile. He currently leads his own consulting firm focused on public policy and antitrust analysis.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota and has taught at institutions such as Stanford, Georgetown, IE University, and the University of Chile. He was Chief Economist at Chile’s Central Bank and the Chamber of Construction.
