Elvira Fortunato is one of the most influential figures in science and innovation in Portugal and Europe. A full professor at NOVA FCT and deputy director of the i3N Laboratory, she gained international recognition as the inventor of the first paper transistor and for her groundbreaking work in transparent electronics.
