Astro Teller is the Captain of Moonshots (CEO) at X, Alphabet’s moonshot factory, where ambitious and groundbreaking ideas are turned into reality through science and technology. He is also the co-founder and current Director of Cerebellum Capital, Inc., a hedge fund management firm whose investments are designed and continuously improved by a software system using statistical machine learning. He holds a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University and numerous U.S. patents in hardware and software technologies.
