Guillermo Martínez Gauna-Vivas is an Industrial Organization Engineer and the founder of Ayúdame3D.org, an innovative social initiative that provides 3D-printed arm prostheses for free to people in need worldwide. With a strong focus on applying technology to social causes, Guillermo has gained recognition for his global impact and ability to combine technological development with social responsibility. He has received numerous awards, including the Social Innovation Award at the World Youth Forum in Egypt, and has been named one of the “Under 35” leaders driving the tech revolution by *Business Insider*.
Guillermo began his career as an engineer, working as a Director of R&D and Product Development in various companies. In 2017, he founded Ayúdame3D.org, a project that uses 3D printing to create prosthetic arms, known as “Trésdesis,” which are distributed for free to people in need globally. The project was inspired by his volunteering experience at an orphanage in Kenya, where he saw the potential to help people with disabilities through accessible technology.
Academically, Guillermo has taught at Comillas Pontifical University and served as president of the Erasmus Student Network at Rey Juan Carlos University. Along with his technical expertise, Guillermo has led social volunteering initiatives, promoting inclusion and social responsibility among young people.
