Chopra holds an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from Johns Hopkins University. From 2009 to 2012, he was the first U.S. CTO under President Obama, driving public-private partnerships in technology. Previously, he served as Secretary of Technology for Virginia. He is the author of “Innovative State: How New Technologies Can Transform Government” and has been recognized by Modern Healthcare (Top 100) and Government Technology (Top 25). Chopra currently serves on the boards of the Health Care Cost Institute and the New Jersey Innovation Institute.
