Thinking Heads strengthens its corporate structure

As part of our growth and expansion strategy, Yeray Carretero and Germán Alcayde have joined the company as new partners.

To reinforce our position as a leading consultancy firm, and in line with our ongoing strategy for talent acquisition and global expansion, we are proud to enhance our corporate structure through the appointment of Yeray Carretero and Germán Alcayde. In addition, we have strengthened our presence in Catalonia with the addition of Sergi Sabrià, who joins as Director of Consulting for Catalonia, Madrid, and Latam.

Yeray Carretero and Germán Alcayde joined our team in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Yeray Carretero brings over 20 years of experience in consulting, with expertise in reputation management for multinational companies, communication strategy development, and stakeholder engagement. He has worked for international consulting firms leading projects in Spain, Portugal, the U.S., and Latin America, with a multidisciplinary and global approach. Prior to joining Thinking Heads, he held key roles at renowned firms. At The RepTrak Company, as VP Advisory EMEA, he led the digital transformation strategy in Spain and Latin America to optimize the management of intangible assets. At LLYC, he served as Executive Director, overseeing corporate communication strategies and the firm’s expansion in Brazil and Mexico. He developed communication, public relations, and public affairs strategies for clients such as Repsol YPF, KPMG, Asociación Empresarial del Tabaco, and led financial communication projects including the Enel-Acciona takeover bid for Endesa and Martinsa’s acquisition of Fadesa. He also served as communication advisor, managing digital strategies and institutional relations with European entities for the Government of Extremadura (GOBEX).

Germán Alcayde holds a degree in Business and Tourism and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (IE University). He has over 25 years of professional experience. He has held various roles in multinational companies such as Signium, Michael Page International Spain, Arval (BNP PARIBAS), and AC Hotels by Marriott. In the public sector, he served as Director General of Training for the Government of the Community of Madrid, as a member of the Madrid Regional Assembly, and as Chief of Staff to former Spanish President José María Aznar. He is currently Executive Chairman of AbsorbeCo2, Board Member of Hidrógeno Verde Renovable, Director General of Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno, Business Development Advisor to Latham & Watkins, and Board Member of Zerintia Healthtech.

Additionally, we are expanding our activity in Catalonia with the appointment of Sergi Sabrià i Benito as Director of Consulting, focusing on Strategic Communication and Political Consulting. With an extensive background in institutional and political affairs, Sabrià brings his experience in strategy, communication, and institutional relations to consolidate Thinking Heads’ presence in Catalonia and drive growth in the regional market. His appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to working with thought leaders and promoting high-impact initiatives in both the business and political arenas, not only in Catalonia but also across Spain and Latin America.

Sergi Sabrià i Benito holds a degree in Political Science and Administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. His professional background includes a range of roles in public administration and politics. He served as Mayor of Palafrugell from 2009 to 2011 and as a member of the Catalan Parliament for Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) from 2012 to 2021. During his time in Parliament, he was active in the Committees on Institutional Affairs, Business and Employment, and Oversight of the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation. He also served as President of ERC’s National Council and National Spokesperson for the party. His experience in public management and local politics, along with his strategic focus on institutional and business matters, make him a valuable addition to Thinking Heads in Catalonia.
