Ainhoa Arbizu is a Spanish journalist, presenter, and moderator with extensive experience in hosting events, award ceremonies, festivals, and conferences. Known for her dynamic and versatile character, she has collaborated with prominent brands and organizations such as Puleva, Vodafone, FECSA, and Fundación Repsol, always standing out for her professionalism and her ability to connect with the audience in every event.
Ainhoa Arbizu holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. During her studies, she presented the cultural agenda in both English and Spanish on BTV (Barcelona Televisió) and produced music videos and commercial spots. For her final project, she directed and produced the documentary “Animus: Multiple Sclerosis through Art”, which won the Planeta D Award for Best New Documentary at Docúpolis 2002 and was recognized by the World Association of Health and Medicine Films (WAHMF).
Her television career took off as the presenter of daily summaries for Operación Triunfo on La 2. This opportunity led to her involvement with Televisión Española, where she presented special programs such as Eurovisión. In 2004, she moved to Madrid to co-host Música 1, and in the following years, she hosted various entertainment formats and events for TVE, including the MotoGP World Championship in 2007, establishing herself as a prominent figure in sports and entertainment journalism.
In 2010, due to economic cutbacks and the financial crisis faced by TVE, she stepped away from presenting the MotoGP World Championship. Nevertheless, she remained connected with the network, co-hosting the Eurovision Preselection Gala alongside Anne Igartiburu and serving as Spain’s spokesperson at the Eurovision Festival. Her last role at TVE was hosting Rock in Rio Madrid in June 2010.
