Simone Brunozzi is a seasoned technology expert with over 20 years of experience in IT, and a pioneer in cloud computing since 2006. He has held key roles in major tech companies and startups, notably serving as Vice President and Chief Technologist at VMware and Senior Technology Evangelist at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Currently, Simone is the Operating Partner at Cota Capital and a founding partner at Mission and Market, a micro VC fund with over 60 investments. His career, marked by innovation and advanced technology, positions him as a leading figure in cloud computing and corporate strategy.
Simone Brunozzi has led projects at some of the tech industry’s most influential companies. At AWS, he was one of the first Technology Evangelists, spearheading AWS adoption across Europe, APAC, and the Americas. Later, at VMware, as VP and CTO, he drove the adoption of hybrid cloud solutions and led a global engineering team. Throughout his career, he has also served as CEO of startups like Fabrica.city, founded the company Wedoit, and acted as an advisor and investor for innovative tech companies like CloudAcademy.
