Raj Sisodia is a distinguished academic and leader in the global Conscious Capitalism movement. He currently serves as the FEMSA Distinguished University Professor of Conscious Enterprise and Chairman of the Conscious Enterprise Center at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of Conscious Capitalism Inc. and President of Awaken Inc., Raj has been instrumental in transforming capitalism into a more ethical, purpose-driven model. His influence extends to global companies, academic institutions, and international forums, where he promotes the principles of Conscious Capitalism as a path toward sustainable and socially responsible business.
Born in India, Raj Sisodia studied Electrical Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and continued his education with an MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, followed by a Ph.D. from Columbia University. His academic career has included notable roles, such as Distinguished Professor at Babson College and Bentley University, where he founded the Center for Marketing Technology. Raj has published over 100 articles and authored 16 books, including bestsellers like *Conscious Capitalism* (2013) and *Everybody Matters* (2015), in collaboration with leaders such as Whole Foods Market founder John Mackey. His achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Living Legend Award from The Transplantation Society, and he was named in the prestigious Thinkers 50 list in 2013 and 2015.
