As a member of the Congregation of Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, he has also balanced his responsibilities at ESIC with other governance roles in the mentioned congregation, consistently linked to corporate and organizational governance tasks. He was Provincial Secretary of the Congregation between 2010 and 2014, and since 2016, he has been a Provincial Government Councilor.
